No matter what vibes you're feeling for fall, green always comes through with an array of shades like vibrant neons and calming sage to match any mood. But there's one shade of green that you won't have to go "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" to find. In fact, all you have to do is click your heels, and take a look at Selena Gomez's newest nail look to find shimmery, emerald green goodness!

On September 13, the "Calm Down" singer's go-to manicurist Tom Bachik shared behind-the-scenes footage of her Emmys glam squad painting her face and glossing her nails to the nines. Bachik revealed on his Instagram that the custom emerald color was inspired by Selena's verriere earrings and was made by Frankensteining products from OPI. Luckily, instead of just watching Bachik's mad-scientist impression to nail art over on TikTok, we can do it ourselves as he provided thorough instructions on how to get the Wizard of Oz, "emerald city" look.

Bachik starts building the jeweled-toned set by applying one coat of OPI's GelColor in The Pass is Always Greener to create a pale green base. He added a single layer of OPI's GelColor in Emerald Illusion and that's when the magic happened. Bachik uses the most genius hack to bring metallic shimmers in nail polish to the surface. Slowly wave a magnet over magnetized nail polish and poof — all of those sparkles will be front and center, standing at attention.

But his nail smarts don't stop there. Bachik mixed a teal hue (OPI's GelColor in AmazON...AmazOFF) with OPI's GelColor in Rated Pea-G and OPI's GelColor Stay Shiny Top Coat to achieve a "sheer ‘jelly’ shade." After applying a coat of the custom blend and OPI's GelColor Stay Shiny Top Coat, Bachik rehydrated Selena's cuticles using the OPI ProSpa Nail "for a youthful glow and a mani as special as the moment."

The final result? A stunning shade that would make the Wicked Witch of the West green with envy. Below, we've found similar shades to what Bachik used on Selena (in traditional polish form). No UV, gel-curing light needed here, thnx.
