San Antonio nail artist Dezarae Zarate created a Bill Miller-inspired set for her sweet tea-loving client.

While it's not technically summer, the sweltering temperatures are requiring July-esque refuge from the heat. For many San Antonians, that means a big, icy pour of Bill Miller Bar-B-Q sweet tea. To honor the summertime necessity, a local nail artist spent three hours creating a custom set for her sweet tea-sipping client.

Nail tech Dezarae Zarate says her client Katherine Rodriguez is a big fan of Bill Miller tea.

"She's usually always posting anytime she gets herself a sweet tea or someone giving her one," Zarate says. "So one day she posted her usual sweet tea moment and I said 'Girl! Bill Miller sweet tea set!' She was down and we got straight to scheduling for the set."

Rodriguez's fingers are now dripping in sweet tea art. Some of the coffin-shaped nails are tan with orange lining while others are painted with a goldish-brown cat eye effect to create the sweet tea look. Zarate also gave the design a 3D effect with raised, tiny ice cubes on the nails.

Zarate says she used Gel-X, a nail extension brand, for Rodriguez's nails. The process took about three hours and cost $140.

The nails are making a splash online with compliments from fellow nail artists, customers, and the San Antonio-based chain.

Zarate tagged the restaurant in the photos of the nails, to which the Bill Miller social media account responded "sweet set."
