It’ll be 78 degrees with very little wind when this game kicks off. However, there will be thunder and rain, and this could create an exciting atmosphere for the match.

Bayern Munich: Leon Goretzka CM (Out). Manchester City: No injuries to report.

Our side and total predictions are based upon our analysis of the line and total in this game. Our best bet is our favorite pick across all markets.

This game sees the end of both teams’ summer tours, and it’ll also be their final warm-up before they get back to competitive games next weekend, which means both Pep Guardiola and Julian Nagelsmann will send out strong teams.

Both teams played earlier this week, with Bayern beating DC United 6-2 and Man City defeating Club America 2-1. Both played a number of their key players in those games and we’re set to see more big names in this game, too.

Bayern’s summer has been focused on replacing Robert Lewandowski, with the iconic Polish striker moving to Barcelona after falling out with the club, and former Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane is now in his place. It’s a fascinating move and one which will see the club have to play slightly different, with the players having different styles of play.

Man City have also seen some outgoing with Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus leaving the club, after both played big parts in the team’s success in recent years. Not only that, but Oleksandr Zinchenko is also set to leave City, too.

New signing Erling Haaland has yet to play for the club but English midfielder Kalvin Phillips and young striker Julian Alvarez both made their debuts earlier in the week.

It's really hard to pick a winner in this game. Man City are the better team on paper but they’ve had so many incomings and outgoings that I think it might take them some time to gel. They still have Kevin De Bruyne, the best midfielder on the planet, who scored twice in their 2-1 win over Club America.

Meanwhile, it’s Munich who have excelled so far this summer, and for that reason, I’d give them the slight edge here.

Prediction: Bayern Munich moneyline (+165 at FoxBet)

There isn’t huge value on betting the Over at -285, but it should land.

Bayern scored six earlier in the week and Man City two. Not only that but both teams conceded at least one goal, which shows how casual these games can be defensively.

It’s not that players don’t try, but they’re less likely to make risky tackles or to give away cynical fouls because there just isn’t any point.

For that reason, you often see more goals in friendlies, and with the attacking talent on display for both teams, including De Bruyne, Jack Grealish, Riyad Mahrez, Serge Gabry, Mane, and Leroy Sane, that should be the case here.

Given that talent, plus the chance of defenders taking it easy with competitive soccer back next week, we have to take the Over here.

Prediction: Over 2.5 (-285 at FoxBet)
