Melody Logan, the owner of MellyMani, likes to bring nail salons to you. Although she once had a permanent residence at Remington's Studio L, her true passion is a one-on-one experience, whether in a pop-up store or a private place. Her latest adventure? Creates and sells her own line of vegan and gluten-free polishes.

When she started: When my grandmother always put pink nail polish on her nails, she mentioned that she hadn't been to a nail salon since the 80s, so the idea of MellyMani was born. I have a home gel polish kit and manicure her. Every time I [visit her], I will do her nails again. This became a great way to establish contact with her, allowing her to experience nail care and beauty at home. I also hope to be able to do this for others.

Regarding becoming a female entrepreneur: Nail art has always been my passion, but the purpose is to empower women. In everything I do, I first question how it will help others. If it meets my mission and vision, I will do it. If not, I have learned to reject opportunities.

Regarding gel, acrylic and basic polish: I prefer gel because it is durable and long lasting, allowing you to go out without worrying about ruining your fresh nail art. To be honest, my point is: Nail enhancement is not "bad" for you. It is the application and deletion that caused the damage. Make sure you have a well-trained technician who will concentrate on this task and make sure to return to the profession to remove them.

Manicure at home: Everyone must use cuticle oil. Be sure to use it every day to keep the skin hydrated. When the skin around the nail becomes dry, it is easy to get infected because the skin can easily break. Moisturizing works too! Using hand cream and cuticle oil will help keep your nails looking healthy, and you are unlikely to choose them for biting your nails. We wash our hands more frequently than ever before and use hand sanitizers constantly; we need to express our love for our hands and nails through moisturizing.

About MellyMani nail polish: MellyMani and Polish Change have developed a series of non-toxic and gluten-free nail polishes. I want to create something that can complement every skin tone. My family is addicted to coffee, and I am addicted to nail polish. Put it together and prosper! Polishes are named after coffee, such as "Con Leche" and "Over Iced". You can look forward to [soon] cooperating with more Polish production lines and products. I hope we can see the days when we can get together again, and when we can, I will suddenly appear to do manicures.

Cuticle oil: Use cuticle oil every day-yes, every day. It is good for hydrating, and you have fewer chances of biting your nails!

HYDRATE: All the hand washing we are doing? It’s not good for our nails. Remember to hydrate.

Polish: Look for MellyMani's coffee-themed non-toxic nail polish series with names similar to "Con Leche" and "Over Iced".
